Silent Art Auction to support
the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council
The Fuquay-Varina Arts council (FVAC), is planning its 4th annual Benefit Art Auction. Two auctions will be held on June 6th. One a silent auction and the other a live auction. This registration is for the silent auction component.
As of April 6th, the FVAC will accept submissions for consideration in the silent auction. Considered items may include any media: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, ink, mixed media, digital music/art, handcrafted pottery, sculpture, jewelry, metal, or woodcraft. Donations of classes, lessons, or camps that instruct in any art form are also very welcome! If you are submitting an art or craft, and not a class, you must have created and possess unencumbered title to the items.
The auction will be held Saturday, June 6th from 10AM-4PM during Celebration of the Arts in downtown Fuquay. The Auction Committee reserves the right to select the final number of items for the auction. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces. There are no registration fees; however, to be considered, you must complete registration and email jpegs of your items to email@example.com. Please read the Policies and Procedures here. If your items are selected, you will be required to fill out the Silent Auction Agreement form.
All pieces submitted to the silent auction will be considered a 100% donation from the artist/crafter to the Arts Council. The proceeds will go to the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council to support their mission to inspire and enhance the lives of citizens in our community and beyond by developing appreciation of the arts, presenting arts programming and education, supporting local artists, & fostering creativity in the community.
The Benefit Art Auction will give artists a chance to increase exposure of their talent to the public and allow their creative works to be enjoyed and appreciated by others in the community.
